(PRESSURES THROUGH 3000 psig (20680 kPa) AT 120 ºF (48.9 ºC))
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of
Defense.
The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this specification
sheet and the issue of MIL-DTL-2 listed in that issue of the Department of Defense Index of
Specifications and Standards (DoDISS) specified in the solicitation.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. When specified, valve outlet threads shall be 1/2 NPT.
2. Dip tub shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-2. Material used for the dip tube may
depend on the corrosivity of the mixture.
3. Diaphragms shall be made of metal.
4. Mark the valve body: CORROSIVE (ACIDIC) MIXT.
