This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of
Defense.
The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this specification
sheet and the issue of MIL-DTL-2 listed in that issue of the Department of Defense Index of
Specifications and Standards (DoDISS) specified in the solicitation.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Unless otherwise specified, the valve shall be supplied with a dip tube for 15.00-inch
diameter cylinders.
2. The dimension from the centerline of the valve to the end of the outlet shall not
exceed 1.875 inches.
3. The centerline of the outlet shall meet the centerline of the valve body at an angle of
34 to 40 degrees in a common plane.
