SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Mark the valve body: INERT O.T.
2. When the cylinder service pressure is specified, the appropriate rupture disk PRD
(type 1) shall be supplied.
3. When the cylinder service pressure is not specified, a combination PRD (type 5) shall
be supplied with a rupture disk with a burst range between 2700 and 3000 psig. This device
shall be utilized only for cylinders of 1800 to 2400 psig rating.
OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Outlet cap or plug (required) (not required).
2. Cylinder service pressure (psig) (unknown).
INTENDED USE: The valves covered by this specification sheet are intended for use with
helium and nitrogen cylinders in oil tolerant applications.
NOTES:
1. Special requirements will be mandatory for all valve procurements.
2. Optional requirements will be specified for each valve procurement.
CHANGES FROM PREVIOUS ISSUE: Marginal notations are not used in this revision to
identify changes with respect to the previous issue due to the extent of the changes.
